  I have to give a very mixed review to this lawyer. He did an excellent job for me in 2006 of getting my then 15 y/o daughter returned to me via the Appellate Div. in Brooklyn (after Nassau Family Court Judge Carnell Foskey through his gross incompetence and behaving as a political hack for the local Republican Party took away custody from me and awarded it to my daughter's father who had been absent from her life for 7 years prior to the beginning of the custody case in 2003. So kudos to Mr Davis for that! The downside though is that I again hired Mr Davis in 2015 to represent me in a false case that was taken out against me in Nassau Family Court by a person who is an addict abusing the family. This time Davis did a horrible job! He withheld from the Judge Conrad Singer and law guardian Robert Mangi the fact that I was residing at a NYC Mayor's Office Safe Horizons domestic violence safe house and that NYPD 45th Precinct DV Unit had charged the person with assault 3 (a mandatory arrestable offense in NYC) for stalking me to the Bronx and threatening me and accidentally giving me a minor injury on my hand on June 29, 2015. Instead Davis slandered me to the court and law guardian by saying I was mentally ill and in need of a sober house! Davis also withheld from the Nassau Family Court the fact that I had filed for an order of protection against a 2nd party who was a relative of the person who brought the false case against me via Bronx Family Court and also the fact that those parties had sent a mutual acquaintance from LI to break the lobby entrance door to my mom's house in the Bronx. She was caught on security camera and a police report was filed. Because Davis mishandled my case so egregiously I ended up with a final order of protection being issued against me on behalf of my two children by Judge Conrad Singer and permanent custody of my children was granted to the abusive addict who brought the false case against me. Judge Singer then recused himself from the case after all the damage was done and after I filed a complaint against him with the NYS Comm on Judicial Conduct (this body has sanctioned him in the past in connection with other cases). I also filed a complaint with the Nassau County Bar Association against law guardian Robert Mangi for slandering me by falsely accusing me of mental illness and addiction and for refusing to communicate with me while case was in progress.
